ADULT SWIMMING
Masters & Competition
Competition is an optional part of Adult Swimming at GSC, giving swimmers who want to race the opportunity to test themselves, set new goals and represent the Club.
Whether you’re an experienced competitor, returning to racing after time away or considering your first Masters event, there are opportunities to get involved.

MASTERS SWIMMING
Train together. Choose to compete.
Masters swimming at GSC forms part of our wider Adult Swimming programme.
Adult swimmers train through our Fitness & Performance sessions, with those who wish to compete able to enter suitable Masters events. There is no requirement to race — many swimmers simply enjoy the training, fitness and social side of swimming with the Club.
READY TO RACE?
Competition at every stage
Masters swimming is open to adult swimmers from a wide range of swimming backgrounds. You don’t need to have competed at a high level previously to get involved.
First-time competitors
Discover competitive swimming in a friendly adult environment and set yourself a new challenge.
Returning swimmers
Get back into racing after time away from competitive swimming.
Experienced competitors
Continue training and racing, working towards personal bests and competitive goals.
WHERE WE TRAIN
Fitness & Performance
Masters swimmers train as part of our Fitness & Performance programme, with morning and evening swimming available throughout the week.
Our structured sessions provide opportunities to develop fitness, endurance, technique and performance whether you intend to compete or simply enjoy purposeful training.

REPRESENT GSC
Take your swimming further
For swimmers who choose to compete, Masters swimming provides opportunities to represent Guernsey Swimming Club and race against other adult swimmers.
Our coaching team can help swimmers identify suitable competitions and prepare for racing as part of their regular training.
