From summer swims in the sea to one of Guernsey's most enduring Christmas traditions, we're proud to celebrate our island's connection with the water.
OPEN WATER
BWCI Open Castle Swim
The Open Castle Swim brings swimmers together for one of Guernsey's best-known open-water events, taking on the challenge of swimming across Havelet bay.
Organised with the support of BWCI, the event combines a memorable open-water challenge with fundraising for local charities — bringing the swimming community together while supporting causes across the island.
A CHRISTMAS TRADITION
Jo Norman BEM Memorial Polar Bear Swim
Today, the event continues in memory of Jo Norman BEM, whose extraordinary contribution to GSC and swimming in Guernsey spanned over five decades.
Open to the wider community, it's a chance to come together, brave the cold and continue a much-loved GSC and Guernsey tradition.
