Volunteering
From helping poolside and supporting competitions to working behind the scenes, there are lots of ways to get involved.
You don't need to be a swimming expert to make a difference.
POOLSIDE
Support our swimmers and teaching or coaching teams during sessions. For those interested in developing further, there are opportunities to gain swimming teaching and coaching qualifications.
COMPETITIONS
Help our galas and meets run smoothly, from timekeeping and officiating to marshalling and supporting the event team.
BEHIND THE SCENES
Help with the many things that keep GSC running, including events, administration, communications and other Club activities.
START SOMEWHERE
No experience? No problem
You don't need previous swimming experience or qualifications to start volunteering with GSC.
Some roles require training or qualifications, but we'll help you understand what's involved and point you towards the right opportunities if you'd like to develop your skills.
Whether you can help regularly or just occasionally, your time can make a real difference.
